We formed Essex County Handspinners in 2000 to serve as a network for handspinners who live in or near Essex County, New Jersey. We do this through regular meetings, online sharing of information about spinning resources and events, joint purchases of fiber, and group projects.
There are no membership dues. Members are at all levels of spinning expertise. Many belong to other guilds as well. We are a guild member of the MidAtlantic Fiber Association, and our members have access to MAFA events and discounts.
